This little courtyard by the sea was looking tired and required a major upgrade to suit its new owners needs and taste. The existing garden had been planted with large trees that had caused structural damage. The brief was to create a modern garden with an emphasis on creating zones within a small space. Beautiful fish scale tiles became the backdrop to a centrally located water feature which now creats a focal point from inside the home. Privacy from surrounding buildings was addressed by planting a row of pleached bay trees, other plants include Maples, Hydrangea, clivia, liriope, ligularia and beschorneria.
